Allison Lim

Vice President for Corporate & Public Affairs, Alliance to End Plastic Waste

Allison has traversed the communications discipline from journalism to corporate and public affairs and has also worked in public policy. As the Vice-President of Corporate and Public Affairs at the Alliance to End Plastic Waste, she partners her colleagues to achieve the organisation’s core strategic and aspirational objectives - investing in infrastructure and innovative solutions to help end plastic waste in the environment.

Allison joined the Alliance from Tetra Pak where she drove the company’s public policy strategy in the Asia-Pacific. She has steered programmes across the wider sustainable development agenda and has contributed to policy development on a range of issues such as circularity, Extended Producer Responsibility, biodiversity and climate change.

Allison also spent more than 15 years in communications and public affairs consulting in Asia and the Middle East, where she specialised in government relations and issues management, NGO advocacy, and stakeholder engagement.

Allison began her career as a journalist in Singapore and in the Middle East and North Africa. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English from the National University of Singapore.
